Abstract
The development of the Institutional Continuity Architecture (ICA) demonstrated that complete institutional realizations can be systematically obtained from a stable constitutional architecture without modifying the architecture itself.
This paper introduces derivation as the central operation of Derivable Architectures.
Derivation is treated as an architectural operation that transforms an abstract architecture into a concrete realization while preserving architectural identity.
